Short version: We collect only what we need to process your order and create your child's illustration. We never sell your data. Photos are deleted automatically after your order is fulfilled.

1. Who We Are

ArtMindr ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by ARTMINDR EOOD, registered in Bulgaria, EU. We sell personalized children's coloring books through our website at us.artmindr.com and artmindr.com.

2. What Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Order information: Name, email address, shipping address, phone number (optional), payment information (processed by Shopify Payments — we never see your full card number).
  • Personalization data: Your child's first name, age (for theming purposes only), and the photo you upload to create the illustration.
  • Communications: Messages you send us via email or our contact form.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages. Collected via Shopify Analytics and, where consented, Meta Pixel.
  • Cookies: See Section 8 for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfill your order, including creating the personalized illustration.
  • To send you order confirmations, illustration previews, and shipping updates.
  • To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
  • To send marketing emails, where you have opted in (you may opt out at any time — see Section 9).
  • To improve our products and website through aggregate analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.

4. Your Child's Photos — Special Notice

Photos submitted to ArtMindr are used solely to create your child's personalized illustration. We do not use photos for any other purpose.

  • Photos are stored on secure servers during the illustration creation process only.
  • Photos are automatically deleted within 30 days after your order is fulfilled, and typically within 24–72 hours of fulfillment.
  • Photos are never shared publicly, sold, licensed, or used in marketing without your explicit written consent.
  • Photos are never used to train AI models or for any purpose other than creating your order.
  • Our illustration team members who access photos to create the illustration are subject to confidentiality obligations.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as necessary:

  • Shopify Inc.: Our e-commerce platform processes payments and stores order data. Shopify is GDPR and CCPA compliant. See Shopify's Privacy Policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, or international equivalents): Receive your name and address to deliver your order.
  • Payment processors: Stripe (via Shopify Payments) processes payments. We never have access to your full payment card number.
  • Email service provider (Klaviyo): Processes transactional and marketing emails. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
  • Print and fulfillment partner: Receives your child's name and illustration file (not the original photo) to print your book.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

ArtMindr's website and services are directed at adults (parents and gift-givers). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 years of age.

The personal information we collect (including children's names and photos) is provided by adults — parents or guardians — on behalf of their children. By submitting a child's photo and name, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child and consent to the use of that information to create the personalized product.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info@artmindr.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. California Residents — Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to Know: You may request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you.
  • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. You may still submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request by emailing info@artmindr.com.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We limit use of sensitive personal information (including photos of children) to what is necessary to fulfill your order.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the shopping cart, checkout, and account functions. Cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
  • Analytics cookies: Shopify Analytics uses anonymized data to help us understand how visitors use our site.
  • Marketing cookies (optional): Meta Pixel may be used to measure ad performance and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. This requires your consent where legally required.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. Opting out of marketing cookies will not affect your ability to purchase from us.

9. Marketing Emails (CAN-SPAM Compliance)

We send marketing emails only to customers who have opted in. Every marketing email we send includes:

  • Our physical mailing address
  • A clear and functional unsubscribe link
  • Accurate subject lines that are not misleading

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing info@artmindr.com. We will process your request within 10 business days. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional emails about your orders.

10. Data Security and Retention

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit and secure servers hosted by Shopify.

We retain your order information for as long as necessary to provide customer support and comply with legal obligations (typically 7 years for financial records). Photos are deleted within 30 days of order fulfillment. You may request deletion of other personal data at any time.

11. Your Rights (All Users)

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal information.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you have given (e.g., for marketing emails) at any time.

This Privacy Policy was last updated on April 6, 2026. We reserve the right to update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email to customers who have accounts or active orders.
